Today, November 20 at 19:00 local time (16:00 GMT / UTC) in Doha at Al Bayt Stadium, the Qatar – Ecuador match opens the World Cup. This is not the first meeting between Qatar and Ecuador. There were three such matches, but they were all friendly. Two came in 1996: a draw (1:1) and a victory for the Ecuadorians (2:1). And the last time the teams met was in 2018 – it turned out to be a battle, which ended in favor of the Qataris – 4:3. We will watch.
